Well I don't know how many other cities you've visited, or if you have family elsewhere to "test out" a new city, but take it from me, Las Vegas is not the place you want if you:
1) don't like the temperature equivalent of walking on the face of the sun 2) don't drive 3) like culture 4) aren't mormon 5) want to meet people/make friends and a) you don't go clubbing and b) don't have a ready-made family where you might actually meet other people because of having that family.
"What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" Yeah right, it's got that witness relocation protection program feel to it.

I've heard from another hardened ex-vegas inmate that it is indeed one sub-level removed from the depths of hell.
I guess it's a nice place to see, but leave quickly.
